Examination wasn’t programmed to harm any individual. It’s a piece of exercise regimented to assess the intellectual abilities, cognitive competence , quality of reminiscence, amnesias , retentiveness and inspection of conscience & morality of an individual hinged on a particular context .
If not corrupted, examination are geared towards determining the right persons capable and eligible for elevations, merits, experience-oriented and academic promotions. when you fail any examination there is always an opportunity to rewrite over time because change is the end-result of all true learning.
In Nigeria, the punishment for examination malpractice can be a fine, imprisonment, or both. The Examination Malpractice Act of 1999 states that the maximum punishment is five years in prison or a fine of N50,000.
In DELSU, the punishments for examination malpractice can be so ruinous. Examination malpractice panel has been put in place and when a rebellious student is caught in the act , shall be sanctioned mercilessly.
A victim can be suspended from the university for years or rusticated as the case may be.
