The Management of Delta State University, Abraka has organised a private send-off ceremony for the immediate past Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration), Professor (Mrs) Rosemary Ngozi Okoh, as she officially bowed out of the position after four years of meritorious service. The brief, but significant ceremony which took place on Thursday witnessed glowing commendations from the University’s Management team. The Vice Chancellor, Professor Samuel Ogheneovo Asagba described Professor (Mrs) Rosemary Okoh as a woman of intellect and character. Professor Asagba further commended her for her excellent service to the University as Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration) and the manner she discharged her duties with a sense of godliness and morality. He concluded with heartfelt wishes for God’s abundant blessings upon Professor Rosemary Okoh and her family.

Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic), Professor Hilary Owamah commended the outgoing Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration) for her forthright stance in the discharge of her duties while in office. Professor Hilary Owamah wished Professor (Mrs) Rosemary Okoh the best in her future endeavours.
In her commendation, the University Bursar, who was represented by Mr Joel Ojigbo-Ijatomi, recalled how the outgoing Deputy Vice Chancellor (Administration) served the university with integrity and dedication in all her assignments.
On his part, the Provost of Oleh Campus, Professor Elo Ibagere affirmed that the intellectual capability of the outgoing Deputy Vice Chancellor, Professor (Mrs.) Rosemary Okoh, is beyond question, noting that she consistently demonstrated intellectual depth in various capacities during their time working together. He concluded by emphasizing that she served the university commendably: academically, morally, and spiritually.
In response to the tributes in her honour, Professor (Mrs.) Rosemary Okoh expressed heartfelt gratitude for the kind words and accolades shared during the ceremony. She offered a prayer for God’s blessings upon the DELSU Management for the recognition and honour bestowed on her.
