The Delta State University, Abraka has released a revised academic calendar for the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic session. This update was approved by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Samuel O. Asagba, on behalf of the Senate.
Key Dates and Activities:
- Sunday, March 30, 2025 – All students return to campus
- Monday, March 31, 2025 – Lectures begin
- Wednesday, April 30, 2025 – Consideration of 1st semester results by Senate
- Friday, June 27, 2025 –
- Submission of scores for Continuous Assessment (CA)
- Lectures end
- Monday, June 30 – Friday, July 04, 2025 – Revision period
- Monday, July 07, 2025 – Second Semester Examinations begin
- Friday, July 25, 2025 – Second Semester Examinations end
- Friday, July 25 – Friday, October 31, 2025 – Second Semester Break (13 weeks)
- Wednesday, August 27, 2025 – Consideration of 2nd semester results by Senate
- Monday, November 03, 2025 – Start of the First Semester for the 2025/2026 Academic Session
